The new settlers, 12 Grain Studio and Aberdium Consulting, want to celebrate their move into town by hosting a party to benefit the Carrboro ArtsCenter and its future reconstruction. Please join us on this brisk Autumn evening as we feast on garden fresh hors d'oeuvres that tempt the taste buds, paired with seasonal brews, and art that tempts the imagination.

The ArtsCenter began more than 25 years ago, and was known as "The ArtSchool," a single painting class. Today, The ArtsCenter serves more than 50,000 people each year. It is unique in that it serves both professionals and amateurs through its wide variety of programs, events and classes. As of late, the ArtsCenter has developed outreach programs such as the Latino, African American and People with Disabilities Initiatives. They have also been sponsoring pro-bono or reduced-rate arts programs for underserved populations. These strides toward building and unifying citizens in the Triangle area have caused them to exceed their capacity. We want to make their vision for a new ArtsCenter a reality.

Special presentations and a festive fundraiser is planned, so bring your checkbooks and show the ArtsCenter just how thankful you are for their non stop calender of community centric events! This party is FREE and a great way to meet small business owners and other neighbors. Please pass this info along to others in the Raleigh / Durham area who may be interested in the intersection of web design, entrepreneurship, and building community. Dress is evening casual.

Special thanks to Brian Russell who offered up his creative co-working space for this event.

Donations of any kind are graciously accepted.
